Ahmaigawdzorz

Okay, so in between making 3 large chai lattes, 1 small soy latte, 5 kids hot chocolates (2 with whip, 3 without), 4 americanos (2 doubles, one single, one triple) making 3 bagles, and cashing through all in the span of about 10 minutes,I caught a box of Froot Loops, made 16 bucks in tips, drank a mocha and listened to Coldplay. It was a good day. <3

Busy and fun. The way work should always be. :D

Scattered thoughts of a crazy love-fool

So, I didn't update when I returned from Mexico. I didn't post my New Year's resolutions. I also certainly did not post my journal that I kept on my trip. I don't even know why I bother to say I will post considering I rarely (if ever) do it when I say I will. I guess I just need to be in a certain mood, and it's not as if many people read this anyways.

So, New Years was good. It came and went with no broken appliances, which was nice. People left all their liquor here, which I wasn't too keen about, considering I have no idea what to do with half of it. I don't drink often, and I really don't keep any around the house generally. I still have most of it - including the bottle of Sour Puss which I bought, and didn't open, but still somehow manages to be half full. But, well.. whatever.

So, resolutions I guess is something I should do, eh? Hmm, let's see here. I've stuck to mine from last year pretty well, I think, but of course there is always room for improvement.

* Keep up with Yoga; do it more consistently and practice more
* Eat healthier; I've done better, but I am faaaaaaar from being where I want to be with my diet
* On the note of eating healthier; knock off on the sweets
* Do at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day no matter what my mood
* Pay closer attention to my personal relationships and be more mindful of others' needs
* Begin volunteer work or become involved in something humanitarian or environmentally conscious
* Find an alternative for protein that I enjoy so I don't eat meat every day
* Find more time for my hobbies - especially playing music
* Get more organized

That's what I can think of for those so far. If I come up with anymore, I'll revise the post. I'm trying to place an emphasis on setting attainable goals so I can feel the accomplishment. Little steps along a very long road is the key, in my books.

Robbie's pretty much moved in to my place here - my dad's gone to Bonnie's. I have some fears regarding my dad leaving, but I know it's for everyone's good and I know he's happy. I felt guilty last time I left - leaving him alone. I'm glad it was he that took the step away. I think it's something I needed since I have the tendency to cling to things I fear to lose. I haven't lost anything, but rather gained something.

My dad's giving Rob and I an incredible deal. The rent is cheap for the place we're getting - $1000 a month with everything included (internet too, woo!) for a two floor, three bedroom, one and a half bath place with a back patio (with barbeque <3) and shared yard. I'm in a home I'm familiar with, an area I love and best of all - I can have my kitties. Oh, the kitty love! =^.^=

While I remember, if you have ever played Final Fantasy or any other popular RPG on a gaming console, you must, MUST check these videos out. The fourth episode is my favourite <3

College Saga; Episode 1
College Saga; Episode 2
College Saga; Episode 3
College Saga; Episode 4

Eat animal crackers or fuck you!
Also: Vegetables are lazy and stupid.

I'm here! It's snowing!

Okay, so.. I'm in Giant Truck Stop, B.C. Which is really called, Golden.. but whatever. Technicalities are for suckers - staying in the Kicking Horse Resort. Which is away from Golden, and is really nice and good.

The walls here are paper thin though - you can hear everything that goes on in the rooms around you, and out in the hallway. I'm sleeping on a pull out couch, but the view through the patio doors makes everything worthwhile. The mountains are absolutely gorgeous! We also have a kitchen in the place, so we don't have to eat out for the entire trip. We had a big potluck last night with my dad and uncle and all his friends, which was fun.

Tried snowboarding for the first time today. Everyone went skiing yesterday, but because I've been feeling so poorly lately, I stayed in the room. Had an all right time, did some shopping, whatever. Had my lesson with a really hot British guy. Haha. Had lunch on top of the mountain, saw a bear, and wiped out completely which made me decide to turn in for the day. Another lesson, and another day tomorrow. ^^

Tahnee and Curtis sure have grown. Really adorable. <3 It's nice to see them and my uncle and aunt again. -dances-

Anyways, my time will be running out shortly, so I will end this here. More to come later, along with some pictures~

Teh happenin' day, yo

Well, I certainly had an exciting day. Here are the highlights:

- A man dressed as a giant inflatable penis came and ordered a coffee and a peanut butter square
- I burned my hand and wrist badly
- I witnessed a frantic 911 call from work
- It was busy as hell
- Had dinner with my Great Aunts from Nanaiamo

Yeah, and I'm going to go see The Rocky Horror Picture Show with Kris, Rob, Jade, Paul, Kelly and Kady (from DQ) and Matt. More will probably show, but it'll be fun. The movie starts at midnight at the Roxy. We were told to bring toilet paper and dry toast..

Kris has something dastardly in mind. Bwa ha haHAHAHAHAhahAhaHAhahaha.

<3

Action!

Well, Friday was a bit of an exciting day. I saw Meg Ryan; she was doing a movie shoot down at DQ. The employees had to stick around even though the store was closed, but it was neat to see how they do everything. Meg's quite arrogant. :P

Not much else has been happening really, except a lot of work. Grad is coming up soon, I'm excited, but uneasy at the same time. I hate school, but it has been a safety net for me and so many others. I want to put high school behind me, but I'm afraid to at the same time.

I've worked a couple shifts down at The Spiral, and I know I'm going to absolutely love it there. The work isn't hard at all, and it's a very comfortable environment. I'm definately excited to start there full time, or whatever. I can even have purple hair working there if I wanted to.

My sleeping patterns have been horrendous the past week or so, and I can definately feel it catching up with me. My entire body aches, and is crying out for sleep, but my mind just won't quit. I burned my hand pretty badly with gravy today, and my joints feel very stiff. I need cuddles and a back rub. ;_;

Okay, end of complaining.

Rob and my conflicting schedules have proven to be a challenge in finding time to see each other. But, I'm not worried too much, we both have Tuesday off. Tomorrow's a stat, and I'm working the night shift. Unfortunately, it's in the kitchen.

I think I'm going to go lie down and wait for sleep. I'm being woken up early to call my Auntie in Scotland.. it's her birthday tomorrow! ^_^

"Okay, cut! End it there."
